Introducing Myself: Living with Chronic Medical Issues

Hello, my name is Joy. I'm 23 with several chronic medical issues. I'm excited to talk to people with similar problems. Growing up with medical issues left me an outsider and with so many questions. I can't wait to have discussions with all of you. I want to help you also. well as best as I can. it's so hard to find a good doctor now in days that will actually listen and care for you. maybe we all will find better answers on here.

I was blessed to have 29 painfree, healthy years. So, i cant help there. As for doctors, i recall my doc eager to help and wishing he had seem me 4 years earlier when i was having my issues. Fast forward 30 years. I reminded him of that statement. His eagerness is gone. I dont know if it his age or the insurance companies, but so little support and investigation. Believe it or not, Chemo was the best thing that happened to my autoimmune symptoms. Wiped them out with first dose. Lasted for years, until next cancer.
