Preventing Blood Sugar Crashes at Night

My hypoglycemia friends… What kinds of food do you eat before going to bed to prevent a blood sugar crash at night?? I have trouble finding even complex carbs that won’t keep me from having to get up to pee a million times and then risk passing out. What helps?

My mother has this condition. I gave her crackers with peanut butter and whole milk before go to bed around 10:00 pm then at 2:30 2 sips of Ensure.

I usually don't eat save for something light before bed but I always keep a sugary noncaffeinated drink by me to sip at when I wake in the middle of the night and that seems to work for me? I usually stick with minute maid juices or Kool-aid.

Milk or cheese is good if you can handle dairy. Sometimes I just eat a few slices of sandwich meat

I'll usually try to keep peanuts or something like Gatorade or sweet tea that I can drink so I don't have to worry about choking.
