Should I Retake a Pregnancy Test?

Tw: pregnancy so less than a month ago I took a pregnancy test because I was 5 days late and it had a faint line. well, the next day I started my period. Should I take a pregnancy test again even tho I got my period the day after that faint line? With my thyroid being so bad i am at risk for an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. Any advice is appreciated. it's been making my anxiety crazy.

Hi, you have to remember that bleeding with a pregnancy test that is doubtfully positive may not necessarily be menstrual bleeding, it may just be light bleeding as a result of the the pregnancy, and it may also be that it is a miscarriage. I would suggest you take another pregnancy test to be sure you are not pregnant. If it still comes out positive, I suggest seeing a gynecologist.
