Pregnancy Scare: Dream or Reality?

Well I am 4 days late for my period. I went to the obgyn April 14th for a Pap smear and the doctor was feeling around my chest and stomach area and he said “when is the baby coming “ I said “um what? “ he asked again and I said “I’m not pregnant I don’t think..” he didn’t say anything else. That was the day he put me on Cymbalta for pmdd. Last night I dreamt that I picked up my phone and there was a banner on my screen that said “you are pregnant “ now I’m freaking out because I want answers… help?

If you are pregnant and you're not ready to support a child you better hurry to get an abortion, before you can't anymore. If you live in a state with trigger laws you would be fucked

Sometimes they can sense it sooner . when I got prego I actually went in for pelvic pain which is chronic for me but when they did ultrasound , the tech said she thinks I may be prego bc my uterus wall is thick. Anyways she told me take a test but it was negative, they also had me do one there and it was negative but told me to wait a wk and come back . That when my period was missed and test at home had a faint line I went in later that wk when I could and they confirmed I was prego. It’s always possible get tested and get tested again a wk later .

Definitely take a couple pregnancy tests. The best time to take them is in the morning after you get out of bed.

If you think you may be pregnant you should test. If you are not pregnant you should refer to a primary care to discuss symptoms including your referral for PMDD meds, if you test positive, then you should get a blood test to gather more information and confirm. Regardless, knowledge is your best means of controlling your situation. ❤️
