Always Hungry: Can't Stop Eating

Anyone else feel like a bottomless pit? I’m always hungry and never feel like I ate enough. Not sure why this is happening or how to stop it. I have had many medical tests and there is nothing medically wrong with me. Thyroid is fine, cortisol levels are normal. Anyone have any experience with this or any insights?

It may not show up on tests yet but it sounds like blood sugar issue. Research studies recently show diabetes can start even before blood sugar affected in some people. I for one had a similar issue but then started taking Ozempic and now I have normal hunger levels. It sucks to be hungry like that, I know.

We have lots of hungers sometimes we try to satiate them in poor ways Watching Netflix can make you feel less lonely for a while but it's better to find real people Playing an app on your phone can make you feel more accomplished but it's better to get real work done We might stuff an empty stomach with ice cream when water and apple slices with peanut butter would have done the job Or sometimes we get low on specific things vitamin c, salt, water, meat, veggies etc Or we just need something to do, to move our teeth, and hands I've noticed I snack way less and eat way healthier around good friends and family, Next time you're bored try talking with a friend for an hour on the phone or go hang out, or go for a walk, get outside We can program our bodies to do all kinds of things, Pavlov trained salivation, but we can train arousal at socks, excitement at taxes, sleepiness at mention of star trek, etc It can take effort to reprogram ourselves the way we want, Or it could be a real physical need, watch if the urge is affected by entertainment, eg if you're out with friends do the hunger pains go off schedule If it is physical it could be a very specific need try smelling foods and sort of asking your hunger if some smell like they'd satiate your hunger better than others, it may be you only need a few micro grams or ounces and not have to take on pounds every night Also look for ways to get healthy hunger, reassociate with real hunger Try fasting, exercise, sports, get to sleep early and wake up early,

I know you burn more calories on your cycle so that’s part of it but this is all the time

I deal with this occasionally. It’s usually around when my cycle should come. I heard it’s a boost in metabolism. Not sure if that’s true or not. Do you think it may be a metal thing and not actually physical? I’ve had that happen.
