How do you know the Prazosin is working for PTSD nightmares/flashes? I was on it before when I was having a particularly difficult time with my PTSD. I don't remember how it worked or really much of that time period. I'm on a lower dose now about 8ish years later after being off of it for 6ish years. I don't know if it is working. What does it “working” feel like?
One user mentioned that when Prazosin works for them, they experience a decrease in the intensity of their nightmares but not necessarily the frequency. Another user shared that they haven't had a PTSD nightmare in years after finding the right dosage of Prazosin. However, it's important to note that individual experiences may vary, and it's crucial to consult with your psychiatrist to determine if the medication is working effectively for you.
