Experiencing strange POTS symptoms post Covid
Hey POTS gang. I’ve been sick recently, unsure of with Covid or something else, and I’m having some weird symptoms. Dizziness, blacking out, nausea are all normal symptoms. But last night my body stopped responding and my muscles wouldn’t work or started spasming. Spasms and not being able to put weight on my legs without collapse have continued into this morning. Is this something anyone with POTS has experienced? Especially post Covid? Is it something else? And if anyone has mobility aids, how does one go about getting one?

I am currently sick with covid and have had it do this to my POTS. These are usually my worst flare symptoms but covid made it suddenly appear the second I got a mild fever. Keep up your salt and hydration even more, dont miss a dose because I noticed being sick makes hypovolemia so much worse. Help circulate your blood with mild calf and hand exercises. Hope you feel better soon

i’ve had that happen before (i didn’t have covid though…) but i’ve definitely tried to get out of bed in the morning and fallen because my legs literally collapsed under me!! lol i find that i get tremors and muscle spasms during my pots flare ups! it really sucks, but i tend to just have to wait for it to pass! hope this helps!!
