Is Frequent Urination a Symptom of POTS?

I've heard frequent urination is a symptom of POTS. Is it true?

It can be a symptom! I definitely have it. Interstitial cystitis is also common with POTS/EDS/MCAS patients, which increases urinary urgency.

Yes! It has to do with RAAS- (renin-angiotensin-aldosterone-system), which essentially is series of hormones which regulate blood pressure by balancing fluid and electrolyte levels. The RAAS system regulates sodium and water reabsorption in the kidney which impacts blood volume, blood pressure, and urinary output.

can confirm, as a pretty dehydrated pots patient - frequent pee isn't due to increased water intake (at least for me lol) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I personally haven't heard this! I know it's a common symptom of PANS/PANDAS though which can cause POTS as a side effect!

It can be a symptom for some patients. But like fainting with pots- some of us experience it, some don't
