I second exercise. Building up gradually with walking and other types of activity has allowed me to go off my POTS medicine. I also saw no benefit from drinking a lot of water. Adding something into the water (such as an electrolyte mix) or just drinking other fluids besides water helped a ton. Good luck!

Hi Elliot :) the basic things are to drink lots of water and eat loads of salt which helps increase blood volume and that helps the dizziness/weakness. Caffeine can either help or hurt depending on your heart and how you respond to it. The most important thing is to exercise and build up gradually—exercise is one of the most common ways people “cure” their POTS. I couldn’t get out of bed a couple months ago but I pushed myself to exercise and now I’m doing martial arts! Don’t lose faith <3
Hey Elliot!
