I use it just to reassure myself that it the palps arent more. Officially, it is really only FDA cleared for AFib and a couple other rhythm problems. However, i have no doubt that if i was having actual heart issues, something would show up. Even when my internal shaking is too high to get an official Kardia reading, i still see the ECG. I find it very helpful and emotionally a cheap reassurance. Ive had mine for a couple years now. I recall one of the buyers comments was some vendor sources didnt rotate the stock and so battery life was short. It is a replaceable battery. For me, i havent hsd to replace it yet and i have used it often when i first got it. There are many types out there. I believe Kardia is still the most accurate, but that was a couple years ago.
