Losartan is a potassium bp med. I read that it could raise your potassium levels, and not to add any potassium supplement.

My understanding is that Hyzaar is Losartan with potassium- I've been switched between these 2 many times over the years.

I was switched to losartan because I had a tad of a cough; ( my friend told me and) I read that particulates in the lisinopril I was taking, were lodging in my lungs ( it doesn’t break down and expel), and causing the cough….Oi
