Struggling with Post-Hospitalization Depression and Frustrating Parents

I've recently gotten out of a mental hospital for suicidal thinking and almost attempting suicide. Within the hospital I didn't achieve much in moving away from those thoughts. My main two issues are that A. my parents are being more frustrating with dealing with my depression and either constantly over or under compensating, and B. I need to know how to talk to my psychiatrist about the fact that the hospital didn't do much besides change me to another medicine that I've seen no improvements on.

but going back home and facing reality again is very overwhelming, especially when parents aren’t understanding. your psychiatrist is mainly for meds anyway, so i think getting or talking to your therapist about your experience will help better

i’ve been admitted to the psych hospital plenty of times and it didn’t really help. they felt more like a safe haven, and as soon as you’re discharged you’re dropped back into the same life and problems with the expectation that you’ll use everything you’ve learned
