I just regelt had covid (January 2022) and I feel like my overall health even month after it got worse. I have troubles sleeping and staying asleep, my anxiety and stress headaches got worse and problems eating regularly and the amount I’m eating. Did anyone had covid and/or experienced similar symptoms? If yes, how did you overcome them?

I don’t want to say this and it make you feel worse, but hopefully will help you in confirming your suspicions about your own condition. I had covid in May of 2021, and I quite literally have not been the same since. It’s wild. I also have health anxiety (cause unrelated, but exacerbated by covid) and general anxiety that has only progressively gotten worse since then, which makes it damn near impossible to go to the doctor, so I haven’t been able to have a check up.

@Ksmi I’ve always been scared of doctors and since covid it’s gotten even worse. My anxiety got worse too, sometimes I can’t even interact with the people living with me because I’m so on edge and full of anxiety and stress.

@Lou18 I will say that last week my anxiety reached a new level, and I’m still recovering from it physically and mentally, and it’s very scary, so I’m sorry you can relate, I don’t wish that for anyone. I was always against taking medication, and I still don’t want to, but I will say after trying it in those moments where I felt like my mind was about to just snap, it was nice to have. Also it’s nice to know that there is something that can provide some relief in rescue situations like that. As far as natural remedies, there was a chai I would get from a local coffee shop and it had reishi and ashwaganda in it, and that combination also really helped to mellow me out, so could give something like that a try as well.

@Lou18 see, I never had issues with going to the doctor, hell I worked in a hospital 😂 now my life has done a total flip. I work from home, became agoraphobic, can’t drive currently, struggle to go on walks, it’s wild. Luckily I can interact with people, when they come to me, I think it’s the only thing saving me at this point.

@Ksmi My breathing still hasn’t fully recovered, but it’s much better than it was right after and a few months after. Also a few months after I believe I became pre diabetic or fully diabetic (guesses, no tests) because I felt AWFUL, I was barely functioning, and it made my anxiety worse because I couldn’t trust my body anymore. I do still have things going on, mainly related to my anxiety, but I do feel better than I did last year, and the recovery is different for everyone, don’t get discouraged.
