In the process of being diagnosed with Lupus based on my blood work(positive for anti-dsdna) but it seems like my symptoms don't match or could be caused by something else. I have been sick with upper respiratory infections on and off since September. Usually starts with a sore throat but turns into sinus congestion and a runny/stuffy nose that just won't go away. It feels like my head is constantly in a fog. I've lost my voice 3 times in the span of 5 months. The only thing that's helps a bit is prednisone but even that doesn't knock it out fully. Does this sound like a lupus flare? I know it does get worse after I've been in the sun.

Lupus can cause absolutely any symptom as it’s systemic💜it doesn’t have to be typical and photosensitivity is a common sign to feel worse in the sun, having ds dna is pretty much a 100% positive diagnosis, you might be in very early days of lupus where you don’t actually experience many symptoms its good to treat it early to avoid complications

It's difficult to determine if your symptoms are specifically related to a lupus flare, as lupus can present with various symptoms and affect individuals differently. However, some common lupus symptoms include fatigue, joint pain, and photosensitivity. It's important to consult with your doctor or a rheumatologist for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.
