Dont take this in a negative way please but when I was 13 I was told I have bipolar disorder and was put on meds for it even though my dr didnt fully agree that I was, 5 years later it turns out to actually be PTSD. Self diagnosing is fine for short term but I wouldn't go to the dr and say "I think I'm bipolar, these are the symptoms I have that prove that" let it be a, "these are my symptoms what do you think?" Then ask questions on bipolar (cause you never wanna leave a dr office without your questions being answered). I recommend looking into medications if you are okay with it since they did help me a lot.

Hey so I completely understand. Self diagnosing can be very dangerous especially with mental health issues because symptoms of bipolar disorder also align with other conditions. I also get the money struggles. If you want to know exactly what you have you should see a psychologist for testing first. A therapist would also suggest getting tested so they know how to treat you as well. It's so frustrating to know there is something wrong but not being able to afford doing something about it. I've had a very long and difficult journey but eventually found meds that work for me. I'm praying for you and hope you are able to get help. There is Facebook groups and such that could be a great help because you'll have people to relate to. Never listen if someone says it's okay to self diagnose. I'm a psych student and it's a lot more complicated than most think💕
