PMDD and Depression: Confusing Symptoms

Does anyone else with PMDD and depression confuse them for eachother? I do quite often and it’s annoying like “is my depression acting up rationally or am I emotional sensitive cuz imma be bleeding in a week?”

at first, i confused the two but then i realized the pattern. when i take birth control, my cycle is very regular, and like clockwork, a week before my period my PMDD would start. i’m on norethindrone now which stopped my period (thankfully) so i no longer experience PMDD luckily

I know this feeling as well I take anxiety medication and I swear I upped my dose because of being depressed and suicidal . Sometimes I can't tell when I'm not pmsing or it's anxiety because I literally only have like 5 days before I'm crazy for 2 weeks and then I bleed month over now. So which is it?? Is there more woman with anxiety and depression than men? Hmm I wonder

I get extra confused now because I personally started birth control to stop my periods but now I’m getting my periods irregularly and have no idea wtf is going on

A little but honestly now that my psychiatrist diagnosed and started me on med for it I saw a huge difference and what it did in my life. For me I was super bitch on shark week and thought for every woman that's normal. My last cycle was the first in my LIFE I wasn't and I was like 🤯😳 this is how normal girls feel on it??!! 😅😓
