PMDD and Intense Emotions: Does it Vary Throughout the Year?

Do you guys find that through your cycles throughout the year, some periods are much worse than others w the pmdd? Moreso, on the hormonal/mood swing part? the last year had been nothing but intense emotions, hell, and depression; but I had my previous period and it was the first period in a long time that was so easy. no mood swings, or really anything. then this one, I'm back to hell.

Yeah I've definitely had that every cycle changes, your body regulates hormones differently all the time it could be a change in estrogen or progesterone and some cycles it messes with your emotions worse than others, consult your obgyn if your super concerned but sounds about right for PMDD try chamomile tea and yoga during your cycles and the week before studies show yoga js really helpful especially with cramping and the chamomile is just soothing and can keep any anxiety at bay. But let your feels out if u need tk cry then cry or scream then scream expressing your feelings in a journal or to a friend can be really beneficial as well. Feel better! Any questions pm me :) (I'm an obgyn nurse)

Someone in a PMDD group I’m in mentioned that every third month is usually a really bad cycle for most people; so four months out of the year you’re dealing with the worst symptoms. Some people are able to tell that cycle and watch out for those months. But there are a lot of things that can exacerbate our PMDD, including stress or other meds. I hope that you’re able to find some relief.

Before I was medicated, my mood swings were the telltale sign I was a week away from my period. No relief from them.
