What Can I Do About My Plantar Fasciitis?

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I’m in a boot on my left foot because I fractured it falling, I’m such a clutz! I have heel spurs in both feet. I can walk with the boot but it’s my right foot that hurts. I can feel the spur it burns and everything and idk what to do. I’ve tried compression socks. Ice. Rolling my foot on ice and exercises. Anything I’m missing? I usually get a cortisone shot but that ankle is swelled as well so idk what to do and it hurts and burns. 😭

I have found the band Kuru to be one of the best things I could ever do for my pf and heal pain!

Aww. Well, don’t throw out your crocs. Just don’t wear them AT ALL until your feet are healed. Then maybe wear them occasionally, but see if you can like…glue some arch supports in. Lol

It burns and is painful! I can feel the spur. I just wanna dunk my feet in ice cold water. I never knew any of this! Thank you so much for telling me! I’m gonna loos up some now. Problem is I wear crocs, I’m a croc girl lol but now I’m gonna start wearing supportive shoes with arch supports. I never knew any of this like I’m baffled lol.

Oh my goodness. Arch supports are the most important thing you can do to help plantar fasciitis. Bless your heart, I KNOW you must be in so much pain. Honestly, I just go to Walmart and find some cheap arch supports. I look for ones that have the gel in the heel and just get the cheapest ones from there. My plantar fasciitis started out so bad that my feet would lock up and not move or rotate AT ALL, but by consistently always wearing shoes with good cushion (think sneakers or memory foam shoes rather than converse style that are basically like walking barefoot) and always adding arch supports to them, I’m at the point where now I almost never have foot pain. While your healing, you really should be wearing supportive shoes every time your feet are on the ground. Even if you’re just walking from your bed to the shower in the morning.

Are you wearing arch support inserts in your shoes for your plantar fascia?
