Pins and Needles on Left Cheek: Anxiety Symptom or Something Else?

I’m currently feeling pins and needles on the left side of my cheek area, I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety and I am not medicated currently. Could this be a symptom of anxiety or something else?

It certainly could be but it could also be other things and I would hate to diagnose you over the internet without being qualified to do so. Have you talked to a dr about it yet?

Sounds like when you hyperventilate and your body starts releasing calcium to counteract your panic attack

It’s likely anxiety, this has happened to me and so many others with anxiety too. I highly recommend you check out honestlyholistic on IG, she covers those sensations and so many others that freak us out. But, it wouldn’t hurt to see your doctor and talk with them about it just to rule anything out.

Definitely check with your doctor as I don’t know your specific story, but just to give an example I have had those feelings and also had low magnesium and low iron. One think you could do is ask your doctor to do blood work to see if they get any info from that to rule things out.
