I’ve been dealing with this for almost 18 years. Until remission of cancer, I was around only immediate family members for almost 11 months. I was so leery to be around anyone outside of going back to work. Psychiatrist didn’t really help. A phone called with a trusted friend got me to try a doctor in internal medicine. This was a life changer for me. That doc took over everything for me medically. But I never started to get over the social anxiety until I got the job I have now. I’m nearly 51 years old. I’ve made the most friends I have since I was a teenager all those years ago. Funny enough, a lot of them are nearly half my age! Not sure if this helps you, but to summarize, being blessed with finding a job you like is awesome

find out your triggers and seek help if you need guidance from someone who has experience with your condition. find friends and support groups (like us) to help you gain a better understanding on how to cope with your conditions once you know your triggers. blessed be )O(
