Could my hives be related to my period flare?

I am having a really bad flare because I started my period but today I woke up covered in hives and I don’t remember having anything i’m allergic to, could it be related to my flare somehow or just a badly timed coincidence?

It might be MCAS, it’s commonly comorbid with POTS

Replying to ChronicWitch, my POTS was worse in hotter climates and seasons, when I lived in Missouri in the summer, my POTS was at it's all time worst. My doctor confirmed heat can make it harder on your body. On a note unrelated to POTS, once I got Nexplanon, my periods got significantly less excruciatingly painful, so if you're regularly having a really bad reaction to your period, perhaps a hormone based birth control could help? Though, I'd highly recommend talking to a doctor before assuming that's the way to go.

Honestly my POTS is always at its worse when it’s my period and in the summer, it could be a complete coincidence honestly. But I’d keep a close eye on it
