Hello! Here I am, trying this out! I’ve struggled with PCOS and weight gain for most of my adult life. Through intermittent fasting, I lost 35 lbs in 2020. However, I recently quit birth control which caused my PCOS to flair back up and I gained weight back which is so discouraging. I’m wondering if I should get back on birth control, but I don’t want to take it all my life…

I struggled so hard to lose weight my entire life, but recently I found a great endocrinologist who has really helped me. I finally feel like losing weight in possible for me, and that it's actually manageable instead of something I was constantly drowning in. I don't know your specific symptoms, but here's what really helped me: my insulin resistance has been a huge problem for me losing weight. I now take metformin, which helps lower my blood sugar, and a weekly ozempic injection, which manages my appetite and helps my insulin resistance as well. These medications, along with general calorie counting and exercise, have helped me tremendously. Let me know if you have any specific questions!
I think managing your diet really well it helps a lot. It's just hard. I can't do it
