Regulating periods and reducing facial hair growth with PCOS

Has anyone been able to regulate their periods and lower the amount of excessive facial hair growth? If so what have you done that has worked?

I used to do epilator treatments to remove facial hair. It was painful but at least the hair doesn't grow back fast after.
