I have so many questions, even years after my diagnosis. In my newest research, I've found that women are using inositol supplements to help with PCOS. Have any of you tried this supplement? If so, has it been good or bad for you? I'm tired of being told to "lose weight" and being pusted to take Metformin (completely kills my stomach) when I'm not even considered pre-diabetic, just insulin resistant, (my most recent A1-C was 5.1 and glucose was well in range, but insulin was elavated) and I'm tired of taking a progesterone medication every few months just to keep my cycles on track. I have adjusted my diet to have less sugars/carbs/gluten/dairy, increased my exercise/activity, and worked towards managing my stress, with very minimal results. Any other tips?
