Struggling to Quit Smoking with PCOS

I have PCOS and I want to quite smoking so bad because I know it’s not helping my health at all besides the fact I’m already over weight. It just feels so hard especially when you have a partner that smokes it makes it 10x harder. Anyone have any suggestions to help / cope with quoting nicotine?

This is a method that lots of people look down on, but hear me out! It works! If you start chewing cinnamon gum regularly, then every time you try to smoke it will hurt your mouth. If you feel it's unethical then that's fine, but it is effective. I have a friend who did this last year and it was like the easiest cold-turkey quit I've ever seen.

I quit smoking after 12 years of smoking (since the age 14). One day I just decided I won’t do it anymore, I tossed my last cigarette and never smoked again. I guess because my partner doesn't smoke it was easier for me. Maybe you can quit together with your partner?

It’s great you’ve made up this decision! It’s not easy at all… if you have a friend you could do it with or join a support group it could help. Also, there are nicotine supplements that some find helpful and medications as well
