I haven’t had a period since last august, have pcos and I’m not sure if it’s a problem. I feel like it’s not normal for a typical 30 year old?

I have PCOS as well and my periods have become super regular I'll miss it for like 3 months at a time sometimes, however I do have a unique situation where in my PCOS that has caused complete infertility which is kind of tricked my body into going into menopause even though I'm only 25. I've had multiple uterine scrapings because of it and biopsies consistently taken I usually have three to four assists rupture per month my last cyst that ruptured was two and a half centimeters in diameter and caused my right ovary to become non-functional. A lot of the times from what I understand what can happen is that your ovaries start to drop what's called immature eggs meaning that they are dropping but they're not fully developed so they're non-fertilizable eggs which can cause delayed periods and cycles or cause cycles to be extremely abnormal. But again every case is different and this is me speaking specifically on my case I don't know if this is or isn't helpful information but I've been dealing with it for about 2 and 1/2 years now almost 3 years so hopefully the information helps or somebody else's information can help. I take destrogel birth control or one of the generic names for it or name brands for it is Isibloom

I was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 23. I only started having a period till i took Metformin. But before maybe 3 a year. I have had 9 miscarriages. I stopped taking my Metformin last March. Havent had a period since. Dr put me back on it last month cause my labs show Im now diabetic.
I have pcos and tbh- I haven’t had a period in over 6 years. I have a really severe case- and of course- I can’t handle birth control pills. I got an iud to like protect my uterus I guess? The doctors don’t explain it well
My doctor told me five months is the max you should go without one of you're not on birth control or menopausal. They will like start birth control to restart your hormones.
My gyno said if I go more than 3 months without a period I'd need to take medication to force a period to happen to clear out the endometrium. If you're worried about it, ask your doc.
@ArtMouse I've had a gyno tell me that too. Yet, there are birth controls out there now that say they do away with periods or are once a year. So I dont understand how any of it makes sense.
Im 21 and I haven't had one in over a year. I had three rounds of Depo shot and I had a period that lasted for a month and a half and then when I stopped the shot I haven't had one since. I honestly don't think it's that abnormal. When I first got my period I had it every month on the dot and then I started missing a month and at one point I had missed it for 3 months then had a horrible period. I never know what to expect of my minstrel cycle and I think it can throw you a loop at any time...just in my experience
