Have you been to a gynecologist recently? You do NOT have to settle for an absent period. If you see an OBGYN, please talk to them about jumpstarting a period. Not menstruating can lead to buildup in your uterus which could cause more problems later in life…even cancer. I see a reproductive endocrinologist who has done wonders for me with different meds. I have some recommendations if you’re interested: - Inositol, a powdered supplement, helps with lowering testosterone, maintaining good ovarian health, and helps with insulin levels - Spironolactone can help with reducing androgens (which makes you hairy) - Metformin is an option but you’ll likely have to take birth control with it bc it can cause birth defects - Spearmint tea can help reduce body hair Please don’t lose hope! But self advocating is sooo important right now. You can do it 🙌

I didn’t have a period for 8 years and last month I got one on my own and ovulated. It IS possible. I made a lot of lifestyle changes and take metformin
You have to check out Dr Natalie Underberg. Her Instagram is @the.pcos.doc - she’s incredible. Also the supplement Ovasitol is very helpful for hair growth.

I’d suggest looking for a facial cream that removes hair, it helped me a lot because it doesn’t cause bumps or irritation on my face but do your research before you just choose one cream because everyone’s skin is different I also wanted to add that I’ve known SO many other women that have PCOS and that also birthed their own children but I completely understand having anxiety about being fertile or not but just know that there is a chance
