Dealing with Facial Hair and Acne due to PCOS

i take medications to help lessen the hair growth, and i keep an eye out for it. when it does show up, i just shave it off

I remove my facial hair with epilation and now adays I do it much less often than in the past since it helps limit hair growth

Aldactone- aka Spironolactone which is an aldosterone agonist that blocks the excess “male hormones” produced in PCOS women. Works well, but takes a few months to take effect. Also, oral contraceptives helps reverse some of this. Yaz is great for PCOS.

Maybe you’ve heard of it but it’s called a flawless face shaver or something at Walmart it’s like 20 bucks but so worth it if you have pcos and struggle with facial hair. I have it on my chin, upper lip, side burns, under my chin and it helps with my insecurity of it and doesn’t hurt like waxing.
