Struggling with PCOS Diagnosis and Lack of Support

Hey guys, I was just diagnosed with PCOS in January, after over 2 years of symptoms and being told nothing is wrong. I had to push for months to get the tests that led to my diagnosis and still just told to lose weight and go on birth control

I felt this. My doctor gaslit me for years when I knew something was wrong and made me feel crazy. I couldn't lose weight I just kept gaining. I finally decided to go to a specialist and got diagnosed immediately. It's so frustrating, I'm angry because by the time I got diagnosed my weight was out of control now it's an uphill battle. It could've been more manageable years ago if I had been diagnosed

https://youtu.be/VrFaw0J7p_E Hi y'all I found this beginning of this year there is a link in the bio of the video it's definitely worth checking out it tells your doctor that you would like to be treated as a normal human being even though you have PCOS check it out it's worth it.

You are not alone! I have doctors tell me I’d be cured of everything essentially I’d be cured of everything if I just lost weight but then I ask them how to do that with my medications and current exercise and diet restrictions and they just shrug. People treat obesity as a problem not a symptom which leads to no one getting the help they need.
