Gentle pilates has been great for me because it strengthens muscles without putting stress on my joints! I like to do videos from Jessica Valant Pilates on YouTube.

Any exercises or yoga you do, do it with the kids! Also make sure someone is teaching them how you're supposed to be able to do things when you don't have chronic joint pain. I ended up doing a lot of stuff super weird because my mom has RA and her hands are deformed almost to the point of being useless, although it ended up coming in handy when I grew up to have the same issues

Stop using the word exercise, start calling it movement. Any movement is good for you! Give yourself credit!
