Dealing with Panic Attacks and Medication Side Effects

Just started taking buspirone twice a day for my panic attacks and anxiety. I think it’s going well but I know it’ll take a while for my body to get used to it and start to notice a difference. How do you handle panic attacks and face flushing in the meanwhile? I was also prescribed hydroxycine for intense panic attacks but I hear it knocks you out lol and I can’t take that while at work

I'm currently on 10 MG of that twice a day. I could definitely tell a difference once it fully started kicking in.

Right! And then you become way too aware of it and then it (for me) increases the panic attack

in the past it would happen occasionally but within the past two weeks it’s been like an everyday thing and that’s why I finally went back to the doctors and told her all my symptoms and she prescribed my meds. I’m hoping 🤞 once they fully start working/kick in it’ll go down. My cheeks are naturally a little red all the time, it’s just been mega amplified and yes it can be embarrassing at times 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I feel you on that. It’s the worst when someone points it out
