Struggling with Panic Attacks During the Healing Process

I'm having more panic attacks because I've started my healing process and everything has come to the surface but I'm having trouble managing them. I don't know how to reach a calm point when I need to or when to know I've gone too far. Any tips or help?

Opening up old scars is brutal. It does get better. I have a spinning ring (kind of like a fidget spinner) that helps me, and smells help me. I have a particular kava tea that smells very strongly, and I make myself a cup of that and just smell it. Positive visualization sometimes helps. I pick my favorite place and just try to remember all the details, sense by sense. You're not alone.

I completely understand that ๐Ÿ™ it really sucks honestly I really hate it. My therapists and I have been trying to figure out how to fix it but so far nothing. But lots of people use pop its and fidgets to help.๐Ÿ’–

When I get to that point I remove myself from all stimulation (go sit in my room with the lights off or somewhere else dark/quiet) sometimes I'll play lofi or other chill music is the silence is too much. I hope this helps. I wish the best for you โœจ๏ธ
