Looking for Pain Relief Suggestions

trying to find good pain relief and not Tylenol, anyone else have this issue or anyone have suggestions for pain relief?

Hi all! New here. I’ve had severe chronic pain with fibro and neuropathy for 9 years. I rarely see this listed anywhere — Every 4 weeks I get an IV of lidocaine. Kinda like the novacaine you get at the dentist. It definitely takes the edge off. No “high” from the meds. And I still get some severe flairups. I usually get a little drowsy and take a nap in the afternoon after I get my IV. I AM RE

Oops… i was trying to edit my comment but I accidentally posted it. I wanted to add that it is more of a subtle pain relief but i can definitely tell when it is time for my next IV. The medical school of SC started using lidocaine IVs in the early 2010s I think. Worth a try if you dont/cant use opiods. I get very very sick from any NSAIDs so this has been a real God send. Hope this helps

I used to take Gabapentin but supposedly the long term use is really bad on your brain. So I stopped. Tylenol does very little.

I was given tramadol. Did not help. Now taking hydrocodone. Takes edge off of pain a bit. Minimum dosage.
