You should definitely go to the dr to get that looked at they usually try not to jump right into surgery. They might have a medication that can help you. I wish you all the luck and good health on your journey.

I agree with camcam. They also might suggest physical therapy or maybe you are lacking a certain vitamin. If surgery is what they suggest you could get a second opinion. Good luck.

Surgery is something that is super scary to a lot of people and it’s a totally normal reaction to be nervous of it but it makes me sad when surgery is seen as a terrifying experience instead of a positive one! Personally I couldn’t have lived without the surgeries I’ve had. I can walk now because of my femoral surgeries I am cancer free because of a tumor I had removed, my teeth don’t constantly hurt because I got my wisdom teeth out and I can breathe because I got my sinuses shaved. If surgery is presented as an option by a doctor you trust don’t opt out of it because of fear. My femur surgeries sucked and it sucked for over a year but I can walk now. And not only can I walk I can walk without a walker or cane. It was momentary ugh for a future of yay. Obviously surgery is not magic and it’s not for everything and everyone. But don’t let your fear of surgery hold you back from getting a better life.
