Share Your Pain Combo Stories

Anyone got any fun/weird pain combo stories? I just had to call out because of what feels like a burning rash on my forearm and pins and knives in that shoulder. And the rest of my right side is trying to join the party.

Can you help? connect today

One time I had food poisoning so badly that while throwing up I shat on the floor. I was at my parents for the weekend and my mom had to clean up her 21 year old daughters poop. She walked in while I was pantsless trying to wash out half digested food from my nose. It was awkward to say the least

Oh yeah I’ve done that one. Though that’s just my IBS-D. The thing with my arm was new and kinda scary tho

Not so much pain but last night randomly my internal temp went wanky when I was with my partner and I started randomly shivering while burning up and running fevers freaked him out but I'm use to it so I got a kick out of it oh and brain fog was so bad I couldn't figure out to work his car door either lol

Yes! I occasionally feel this “bee sting” pain in the back of my left arm. Same spot every time. Very specific location. Lasts from hours to days. Then that same spot is sore—like it’s bruised— for days after. So weird!

Whenever I’m in a flare up I have to pee in the night. Like no matter what. And when it goes away so does the pee urgency. Maybe I don’t have fibromyalgia but actually some kind of kidney disease or something?

Not sure, but being that fibro is linked with we’ve oversensitivity, maybe the impulses connected to sense of bladder fullness is part of your symptomatology?

A funny yet sad story. The other day I was packing up my backpack and got a paper cut. Thought nothing of it really. I walked home and when I got home was having a really bad pain in my finger. I thought to myself “wow this paper cut really hurts” only to look down and see that the paper cut was on a completely different finger. My nerve pain just feels like someone is cutting into my skin. Good times

I have a lot of tender spots on my arms and sides, so if often hurts when people hug me ☹️

Here’s another fun one: the inside of my knees are one of my tender spots so sleeping on my side with my knees touching is sometimes just a no go. I have to sleep with a pillow between them to avoid the pain; sometimes I even wake up with bruises there from sleeping with out the pillow… and forget kneeling on the floor without padding. My whole knee will just instantly bruise, does hurt, but looks like hell.
