Struggling with Pain After Starting a Fitness Routine

I have been trying to eat better and work out recently and I’ve been doing an ok job but it feels like it has made everything worse especially with my knees ankles and shoulders. Am I the only one that gets this? I really don’t want to continue doing what I’m doing just for the fact that I’m in so much pain. I really don’t know what to do.

Can you help? Connect today

Working out can make EDS worse. Some types of exercise are better than others. If you can, go to a PT and get some hyper mobility exercises there. If not swimming is a good way to go if you are lucky and don’t have weird POTS. (I can’t safely swim anymore bc the POTS says no lol) If all else fails walking or modified Richard Simmons usually does the trick.

Yes it might be the type of exercises you're doing. I'm currently only doing small isometric workouts and I even get injured after those sometimes
