Hi. My doctor prescribed me Ozempic today for weight loss. Has anyone every used Ozempic for weight loss? How did it work? Does anyone use it for diabetes? What are the side effects?

Been on it for a couple months now. Slight decrease in appetite, lost (6lbs). Started feeling nausea, so went back to lowest dosing for a couple extra weeks. Nausea finally dissipated, so we bumped it back up to (.5) dosage a couple weeks ago. Fingers crossed I’ll loose more weight, and keep improving my A1C & fasting in general. Although I’m actually feeling like it should be bumped up again to meet my goals. 🙌

I use Ozempic for my diabetes and to hell manage my blood sugar. It’s been great for me and I have lost like 10 lbs since I was prescribed it. Side effects for me weren’t too bad just a bit of appetite loss
Great drug . Use it for my diabetes. Slight loss of appetite . No major loss of weight. I think it does help my A1c come down-slightly.
