Continuing on writing- brain dumps. So many people have told me that I should do it that I resisted it because so many people told me about it it’s overwhelming. I just got a planner specifically aimed at ADHD minds (undated, lots of room for all things, helping you break down tasks, weekly things you need to get done WITH consequences). I tried writing down everything I was worried about. Seeing it all written down, it makes me understand why I was feeling overwhelmed. It justified it. Breaking down tasks can help a lot too. Need to clean your room? First pick up all the trash. Then blue things, then red things, etc. out of energy after picking up the trash? Congrats your room is clean of trash!! 🤗. Focusing on the small victories can be a huge relief. What have you done? Nothing? Is it because you’re overwhelmed and have no energy and too much energy at the same time? Finding the cause of being overwhelmed can help so much. I need earplugs when I go out so I don’t spiral into panic attacks because of the sounds. And that’s valid. Find your validity 💕

Writing! Your thoughts, your plans, your schedule, and your shopping lists. It really helps me to let go of the mental burden and be organized in the same time.

Lists, lists, lists. Without a to do list, I get absolutely nothing done. It's important to include some easily achievable specific tasks( i.e. " bring all the cups in my room to the sink) that way you can celebrate completing a task!
