Hi Rochelle! Have you tried mindfulness or breathing techniques? In times when the mind is so busy thinking we need to help ourselves by doing grounding and calming ourselves. Also, try to ask yourself what are you thinking about? Maybe you have stress in your life that needs to be addressed. Good luck and remember it will improve with time!
Try to ground yourself. Pick 5 objects you can see around you, then focus on the first thing for 5 seconds, the second thing for 4 seconds... etc. And while you're focusing, say in your head (or outloud) "I can see *this thing* (1 sec), I can see this thing (1 sec)... etc. Sorry if I'm explaining this wrong but this helps me when I'm overthinking and scaring myself. Hope it helps
