Overcoming Shyness Due to Anxiety and Low Self Esteem

Hello! I'm new here- trying this out... I've always been kinda shy. I think it's due to anxiety and low self esteem. i find myself overthinking everything. if you can relate, what's worked for you?

Hi. There isn’t one specific thing that is a “fix” for what you’re going through, but I can tell you, of all the different things I’ve tried for anxiety, the one that had the biggest effect is exercise. It can be something as simple as walking. Once you get comfortable with that, you can find the kind of higher-intensity exercise that you enjoy the most. I believe there is at least one kind of exercise for everyone. Along with that, make sure you’re getting 7-8 hours of quality sleep per night. If your anxiety is preventing you from getting sleep, talk to your Dr. about some possible sleep aids.

thanks, I do feel better when I exercise. I'm pretty active, and walk and/or run as often as I can (usually 3-4 x/wk).
