How to Overcome Fear of Booking Doctor Appointments for Mental Health Issues

I'm terrified of going to Drs, but I know I should go to discuss my mental health and very likely ASD. How do you get the confidence to book Dr appointments? Even using the phone is scary to me to book an appointment.

What about starting with seeing if you can book online for a virtual visit. Some places (I've used TeleDoc a while back) you can just go online and see a doctor pretty quickly. Once you take that step, the next one might be easier.

Maybe try writing down things you want to say. Remember that the other person on the phone won't intensly focus on what you're saying. Try to relax your body when you're talking and try to stay calm

Most doctors offices have pt portals and you can book through there on line
