Overcoming Anorexia: My Journey to Recovery

I am proud to say I am mentally and physically recovered from severe anorexia. I have no fear of food and I can honestly say I live my body. Please feel free to ask advice as to how to overcome mental burdens and strains.

How did you break the cycle? I feel like I’m constantly trying to eat a bit more little by little, but I always fall back into it. Relapsing has been my biggest issue 🥲

First off, congratulations! ❤️ You should be so proud of yourself for recovering. I do have a question for you: how did you accept your new body post-recovery?

i hardcore hated my body once I was weight restored. I tried to relapse but later realized that I actually wanted to live without an Ed. I started looking at other women and their body’s, specifically women with larger figures. I realized that I didn’t need to be thin to be beautiful and I actually began to realize how childish and un-womanly I looked. I started to look up to woman like Cardi B and Jaylo 😂 basically I realized how beautiful bigger women were and I actually started intentionally gaining weight.
