Hey, I’ve had multiple radiology techs tell me my so called ovarian cyst looks like a tumor. One doc told me no follow up needed and another said to call if I’m in severe pain. Do you need to have a biopsy to know for sure if it’s either a cyst or a tumor? Thanks 💕

For me I had a benign cyst that was growing. They had to do emergent removal and then sent it for biopsy. You dont need a biopsy to know but it is more accurate. I reccomend surgery as one of ur last resorts tbh. Do you take contraceptive? It is supposed to help with cyst frequency and size. Pls if theres any intense pain go to the ER (thats how they found out abt mine)

When they found the cancerous tumor on my fallopian tube, they could see the structure from an MRI. Biopsy will be more accurate, but MRI can see the structure also. That's how they found mine.
