Ortho-Cyclen: Anyone have experience?

Does anyone have experience with Ortho-Cyclen? My gyn just reccomended it and after reading about it, it's the last thing I want to take. Currently on Nora-Be and I'm getting my period every 2 weeks and am miserable.

I got the Mirena and I haven’t had a period for years. I still get some pelvic pain infrequently but it is manageable. Best thing I ever did. I will say getting it hurt the first week with the first one I got (especially since I hadn’t had kids) but after 7 years I got my second one and it wasn’t as bad.
