Has anyone taken online therapy and it actually helps them, and if so what is it? I've never had therapy/counseling before, so I'm looking for suggestions to get started somewhere.

I personally have a hard time with online therapy. I can’t really put my therapist’s words into perspective the same way as in person, but I’ve also had friends that swear by online therapy!! I think I struggle to get outside my comfort zone over the phone since I worry others can hear me. Folks who are really good at that seem to love online!!!
