Considering Online Psychiatry: Is It Worth Trying?

Question... has anyone used an online psychiatrist before? My insurance offers some through an app, but I'm hesitant to use one, plus I don't feel like I would stick with that provider, as I would prefer in-person visits. Why even look into one? My PCP doesn't have appointments available for 3 weeks. I called the one I used to go to, but he is changing positions and they have to figure out who else I can see in the practice. So I'm unsure of when they are going to get back with me and how quickly I can be seen. What do you think? Should I try it?

I do online therapy and we have zoom calls every week so we still have the face to face. If it was just a phone call I don’t think I would stick with it. But I think it’s worth a try.
