Need advice for odd menstrual cycles and PCOS

I’m having odd menstrual cycles. Some months they are very heavy like last month, it lasted 2 weeks. I was told I have PCOS but not fully confirmed diagnosis by a licensed doctor. I was told this by my psychiatrist in 2018. He just bluntly said it because I had chin breakouts and facial hair in weird places and I KNOW I’m overweight for my age range. Im taking supplements but I need advice besides “ oh you just need to lose weight”. Help

I was diagnosed officially with just a blood test maybe doing that would help you get medication. I take birth control and that helps a lot x

Perhaps a birth control would help regulate your periods? I use to have horrible periods before trying birth control.
