I have difficulty getting to places on time, but also if I don’t arrive early it also bothers my OCD significantly. Because of this, i usually start getting ready an hour before. For times assignments, I haven’t found a good way to accomplish these without my compulsions. Lots of prep before hand so I at least know the information before the assignment if it’s for school. To avoid shame as much as possible, I ask myself how I would react if a loved one had these compulsion. It helps to empathize with my compulsions instead of judging them. Doesn’t get rid of them or the frequency but it helps me feel less embarrassed
