Struggling to Accept My OCD Diagnosis

hi, i’m wondering if i’m overthinking this all. my therapist told me i clearly have OCD but my brain refuses to accept or process it. what do i do?

something that helps me with my ocd is forcing myself to go through with my intrusive thoughts. so what if i have ocd? what would that change? im the same way, if i think there’s a problem my mind doesn’t want to accept it. having an official diagnosis won’t change anything for the worse, it’ll just put a name to the problems you’ve already been having. if anything it’ll make things easier to understand and manage. i know from experience :)

Night. I have severe ocd and severe panic attacks. It helps alot. I could not function without it. I wouldn't even leave the house and now I'm practically normal.
