Obsessive Thoughts Taking Over My Life

I wonder if anyone has this with their OCD. I have Pure O, so I get obsessive thoughts. I get into states where I genuinely cannot think of anything but my OCD/newest obsession I have going on in my head. Sometimes my obsession can be something as simple as a story I read on Reddit or there being some paint on my shoe, but I really cannot stop thinking about it at all and it’s really stressful and I don’t see a way I can ever get out of this loop.
